LINCOLNSHIRE, Illinois – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Camping World Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CWH) (“Camping World” or the “Company”), the US recreation dealer, today announced an investment in a technology platform in HearHere, the mobile audio entertainment application for travelers. The company plans to integrate HearHere into its proprietary trip planning tool to provide consumers with real-time content as they travel across the country. The exclusive trip planning tool is part of the acquisition announced earlier this week of the camping reservation engine, Nomad Reservations. This investment further expands the company’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, innovation and technology in the recreational and outdoor vehicle market.
HearHere is a subscription audio app that delivers content and stories from a historical, natural and cultural perspective based on the location of the consumer to bring the scenery to life. Professional content storytelling, from a host of top vocal talents, allows the consumer to explore the great outdoors, while gaining knowledge and awareness of surrounding areas by engaging with the app. HearHere is currently working to expand its content library to include more than 10,000 stories about places, people and events in the United States.
“We are investing in developing and improving tools that engage and educate consumers about this great country,” said Marcus Lemonis, CEO and President of Camping World Holdings. “We are focused on partnerships that will have a long-term impact on the growth and success of the RV and outdoor lifestyle. ”
