BBC Studios Production has appointed Sinead Oldnall as Head of On-Screen Talent for its Entertainment & Music department. She’s from Hungry Bear Media.
She will be responsible for capitalizing on existing relationships with artists at BBC Studios as well as creating new opportunities for intellectual property with new established and emerging talent.
Reporting to Suzy Lamb, General Manager of Entertainment and Music, and working closely with the Creative Directors of the department, Sinead’s role will support strategic priorities for content production and strengthen the development of talent-driven programs, especially when working with talents seeking a career in a different direction or genre.
She brings to BBC Studios two decades of experience in attracting top talent to entertainment and music shows, including C4 Fight cancer, The BRIT Awards, Would I Lie to You ?, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and the original (and rebooted) TFI Friday. At Hungry Bear, Sinead oversaw talent across all commissions, including Michael McIntyre’s Great Show and more recently Michael McIntyre’s wheel.
BBC Studios’ entertainment and music team produces shows, including Strictly Come Dancing, Comic Relief, Glastonbury and A question of sport.
